2016 was one of those weird years, with ups and downs for everyone, it seems. Just like other years, there have been lows and highs but they seem to have been especially amplified these past twelve months. From the craziest election we've seen in years to the Olympics, I think that we all have some standout moments we will not soon forget.
Our lows here at Spoaster included getting a sample product from our first supplier just to be utterly disappointed in the quality. After finding a replacement supplier, we now have a final product with the quality we had first imagined.
Just this past weekend, I was reminded once again how much I take the Spoaster for granted at home. We had a Christmas holiday party at a friends house and playing catan around some holiday drinks. I had forgotten to throw a set in my backpack before heading out. Boom. A spill in less than half an hour. We were all too busy laughing that I forgot to take a photo. No less than 10 minutes after, another spill! I was able to snap a photo which is what you see attached. He laughs at the irony as he has already pre-ordered a set (1st production is in work, it'll be here early next year, we promise!) but emphasizes the fact that the Spoaster is really one of those things you never knew you needed until you use it. Kinda like the smartphone (for those of us who existed before smartphones were around)
With the birth of Spoaster this past year, I guess its only relevant that I will be looking forward to another birth in 2017. I will become a father in the middle of next year. There's really something about those words which make you look at life differently. With any luck, I can hopefully have one baby supporting the other in the coming years.
This coming years goal for Spoaster is really to launch our product and get our name and brand out there. I would really love to explain to everyone why the Spoaster is something all of us would be better off with. If there are any specific questions or requests from anyone, please feel free to voice it out!
Moving forward to 2017, we should look back on the accomplishments which we have achieved this past year. Let us push ourselves further this coming year. I wish a very happy 2017 to everyone out there!
